An Introduction to Kundalini Yoga – Moving into our Power

Kundalini yoga has been described as yoga for the 21st century. Its primary goal is to help us to achieve our full potential and to expand our awareness of our unlimited self.

It can be enjoyed by almost anyone regardless of age and physical ability. The practice combines dynamic movement (Kriya), breathing exercises (pranayama), mantra(chanting), meditation and deep relaxation. Most of the practice is done with eyes closed supported by amazing uplifting music.

Within this introductory workshop we will be moving into our power with energising breath work, a Kriya to release fear, working on the glands and organs to remove stagnant energy. Toning the nervous system to alleviate low mood and lethargy whilst building vitality and stamina. Completing the practice with a meditation to strengthen and extend our aura bringing a sense of positivity, fearlessness and happiness.

Yoga mat
