Studio 21 are pleased to announce that pre natal pilates classes will be starting at the Studio on Friday 5th November, 4:30pm (55 minute class) for a 7 week course.
Whose it suitable for?
Women into their 14th+ week of pregnancy who are otherwise fit and healthy.
What if I haven’t done pilates before?
The classes are at beginner level so are suitable for those who have little or no experience of pilates.
What will the class involve?
Each class begins with a gentle warm up followed by a variety of exercises tailored to the group and their individual capabilities. Taking into consideration the various levels of pregnancy. Also, as your pregnancy progresses you will start to focus on relaxing and releasing the pelvic floor muscles to aid with delivery.
Is it safe to do pilates whilst pregnant?
