Post-natal Pilates

These classes are a great way to re-introduce your body to exercise and to get into shape. Whether you are new to Pilates or you’ve been doing it for years, the sessions are designed around you and include varying levels to suit all abilities. They also incorporate a short relaxation segment to help your body de-stress.
Pre-crawling babies are very welcome to come along. They will even get their own mat! You may want to bring a towel or blanket for comfort.
This 6 week course is suitable for new mums. Post natal Pilates can help you to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles and deep abdominal muscles, both essential for a healthy back and good posture.
You must have had your 6 week (normal delivery) or 12 week check by your doctor to say that you are ready to start exercising.
The class runs on Wednesday mornings from 10:30am – 11:30am in Yarm.
Courses will run throughout 2012, the next start date is 18th January.
A six week course costs £60.
