Start your weekend with a fun, flowing class to develop a healthy body and mind. The Ashtanga sequence has the perfect balance of standing and seated posture work for strength and flexibility, and breath awareness for concentration and relaxation.
Ashtanga Yoga:
Ashtanga Yoga is a flowing, set sequence of postures that starts with Sun salutations and ends with some gentle back-bends and inversions. In between are standing and seated postures. With emphasis on breath awareness and continuous movement, it is suitable for all levels of yoga experience, even beginners.
It is not necessary to be “fit and flexible” as this will build over time, but as this class is constantly moving, if you have an injury or painful condition, a gentle class may be more suitable to accommodate your recovery.
There’s no need to attend every week, book in for single classes on pay as you go, or book using your class credits.
